Day 4
I am actually losing count already... I think I have the right to divide my year into days as I feel them; as they are to me, in my experience. Some days have weeks in them and some only last for an hour..perhaps less. My days of creativity are dictated by this freedom of time as we know it. Which is exactly why it is so difficult to decide on one project to last 100 calendar days. How? How can you be in the same space for that long, or is the shift and change what is demanded of the project? I'm struggling to set my own parameters; to follow some kind of discipline. Is Art discipline? Does it matter? I have too many questions today, which is why it took me a while to spurt out a quick morning poem. Perhaps later I might be able to go deeper... But today is a day for painting. I am hoping to spend a few hours outside, both gardening and painting as the feeling takes me. Respect the moment. In each day, respect the moment.
